Situbondo (Kemenag) --- Kuota Indonesia pada penyelenggaraan haji 1444 H/2023 M diperkirakan penuh. 

Hal ini disampaikan oleh Dirjen Penyelenggaraan Haji dan Umrah (PHU) Hilman Latief saat menutup Mudzakarah Perhajian Indonesia tahun 2022 di Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Situbondo. Mudzakarah ini mengangkat tema "Bipih dan Keberlangsungan Pembiayaan Haji"

"Insya Allah kuotanya penuh. karena dari sana bahasanya begitu," terang Hilman Latief di Situbondo, Selasa (29/11/2022) malam.

Meski demikian, Hilman belum memastikan maksud dari kata 'penuh' itu sendiri, apakah normal seperti tahun 2019 atau masih seperti tahun 2022. "Hanya belum disebutkan angkanya," lanjutnya.

Hilman mengaku Kementerian Agama sudah menggelar rapat awal dengan Kementerian Haji dab Umrah Arab Saudi. Bahkan, Indonesia termasuk yang didahulukan rapatnya agar bisa segera melakukan persiapan dini.

"Indonesia jemaahnya terbesar di dunia sehingga pengelolaannya harus dipersiapkan lebih awal," jelasnya.

Hilman menambahkan bahwa penandatangan MoU penyelenggaraan ibadah haji oleh Menteri Agama RI dan Menteri Haji Saudi rencananya dilakukan pada 9 Januari 2023. Bersamaan itu, akan dilakukan juga penandatanganan seluruh kontrak layanan, baik akomodasi, transportasi, konsumsi, maupun Masya'ir.

"Insya Allah, Januari dan Februari kita sudah harus lari kencang untuk pelunasan," tegasnya.
